Edith Velmans

Edith Velmans studied at Amsterdam University after the war and married Loet Velmans in 1949. After the war, Edith Velmans became a psychologist and eventually settled in the United States with her husband. She has three daughters and five grandchildren. In 1996, she was knighted by Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands. She and her husband now live in Sheffield, Massachusetts.
