I had no idea who Karen or Georgia were when I picked up this book. So, if you don't happen to be a fan of podcasts, or if you haven't listened to My Favorite Murder, it's okay. I'd also never read a "dual memoir" before. Having two different women share their "life lessons" was really cool. Both Karen and Georgia have unique voices and are funny and touching in telling their stories. I think they are also both very courageous in sharing such personal details of their lives and it's honorable that they would do so to help other women on their journeys. As well, it's done with humor that does not come across as manufactured or heavy-handed.
