About the Author
José Bell Lara began teaching in 1963 with a focus on researching the problems of development, underdevelopment, and socialism. He holds his degree in sociology, his master’s in Caribbean social development, and his PhD in philosophical sciences. He is a professor and consultant at the University of Havana.
