What started as a beach-side van serving smoothies and raw desserts has grown into this book, which also includes breakfasts, mains, desserts and even recipes for the body and home – all free from meat, gluten, dairy and refined sugar.
About the Author
Harriet Birrell is a woman on a mission to share the joys of a plant-free, tox-free and low-waste life. Based on Victoria's Bellarine Peninsula, Harriet started her food journey serving organic smoothies and raw desserts from a caravan on a bush block at Barwon Heads. Natural Harry is the culmination of her caravan project. As well, Harriett has a second book, Whole (focusing on more of the wonderful colorful plant food and recipes she has become known for) and a third, Home by Natural Harry (focusing on DIY home and body products). When she is not cooking, or surfing, or tending her veggie patch with dog Fred by her side, Harriet is busy working on her blog, hosting workshops and creating content designed to make people think. Harriet is a qualified health coach and yoga teacher and has studied plant-based nutrition at e-Cornell University. She also has an advanced diploma in fashion design.
