Dr. Amy Bass is Associate Professor of History and Director of the Honors Program in The College of New Rochelle’s School of Arts and Sciences and the author of Not the Triumph but the Struggle: The 1968 Olympics and the Making of the Black Athlete (2002). She lives in New York City.
