Join local author and comedienne Alison Larkin for high tea and humor as she reads from her bestselling novel, The English American.
Adopted at birth by loving British parents and raised in England and Africa, Alison found her birth parents – and a new homeland – in the US. She will talk about her experiences, make you laugh, answer questions and sign books.
The event is presented by Adoptive Families of the Berkshire Taconic Region, a support group for families with adopted children. The group meets regularly to socialize and discuss issues related to adoption. Meetings often feature guest speakers and are open to all.
The event is hosted at CHP in Great Barrington. There is a suggested donation of $10. Childcare will be provided.
