Title: Divergent Series
I'm a huge fan of dystopian books and series, from 1984 to The Hunger Games. But no Other story has made me laugh, cry, stare open-mouthed at a single sentence, mull over a thought-provoking concept, or learn about the nature of choices, love, justice, loss, prejudice, honesty- in short, humanity- more than in the Divergent series.
Besides being phenomenally gripping and action packed (I finished the first book in one late-night sitting), it is also deeply thoughtful and incredibly wise. This is a series you actually want your kids to read. Even further, this is a series that people of ALL ages can read- to enjoy and to learn a little something of life.
